Lay flat to dry out of direct sun
To remove ink stains use alcohol. Hand sanitizer works well. Put alcohol on the stain and dab the ink with tissues or paper towel.

I bought this for my daughter's birthday. She was delighted and I liked the idea so much that I bought a floral one for me!
The quality of the mat is good but the quality of the print let me down. Flaws in the green part.
